Terms of Service

Last updated: April 19, 2026

Welcome to DML World Inc. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites operated at dmlworld.com and dml-world.myshopify.com, and any products or services offered through them (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. About Us

DML World Inc. ("DML," "we," "us," "our") is a California corporation with its principal place of business at 10423 Valley Blvd, El Monte, CA 91731. We sell industrial and consumer 3D printers, engineering filaments, ready-to-ship printed goods produced from commercially licensed designs, and custom print-on-demand services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to purchase from the Site. By placing an order, you represent that you meet these requirements.

The Site is intended for use by customers located in the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally and do not guarantee that the Site complies with the laws of jurisdictions outside the United States.

3. Account Registration

You may check out as a guest or create a customer account. Customer accounts on DML use passwordless magic-link authentication: we send a one-time sign-in link to your email instead of storing a password.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Maintaining the security of the email address on file;
  • All activity that occurs through your account.

Notify us immediately at info@dmlworld.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe has been used for fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Orders and Payment

Order acceptance. Placing an order through the Site is an offer to purchase, not an accepted contract. Your order is accepted only when we confirm shipment or confirm production (for custom prints). We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent, incorrectly priced, or in violation of these Terms.

Pricing. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Prices do not include applicable sales tax or shipping, which are added at checkout. We use Shopify Tax to collect California sales tax as required.

Pricing errors. If a product is listed with an incorrect price or specification due to a clerical, typographical, or system error, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed. We will notify you before cancellation and offer you the opportunity to purchase at the corrected price.

Payment methods. We accept payment through Shopify Payments (credit and debit cards), PayPal, and for qualifying B2B customers, wire transfer or ACH under separate invoice terms. Payment must be received in full before any order ships, except where separate payment terms have been agreed in writing.

B2B contract orders. For orders placed under a signed B2B purchase agreement, Statement of Work, Master Service Agreement, or similar written contract with DML, the contract terms take precedence over these Terms in case of conflict.

5. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

Shipping terms are detailed in our Shipping Policy. In general, we ship only within the United States. Ownership and risk of loss for physical goods pass from DML to you upon delivery to the carrier. If you arrange your own freight or pickup, risk of loss passes at the point of pickup.

6. Returns and Refunds

Return and refund terms are detailed in our Return and Refund Policy. Different rules apply to custom prints, ready-to-ship printed goods, filaments, and 3D printers. Please review that policy before placing an order.

7. Product Warranties and Disclaimers

3D printers. All new 3D printers sold by DML carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Consumable parts (nozzles, build plates, belts, heater blocks, PTFE tubes, and similar wear items) are not covered. Industrial machines may carry extended warranty where specified in the distributor agreement accompanying the purchase.

Filaments and printed goods. Filaments and ready-to-ship printed goods are sold as is after the applicable return window in our Return and Refund Policy, except for quality defects identified within 30 days of delivery.

Custom prints. Custom prints are produced according to the specifications you provide. DML does not warrant fitness for any particular purpose unless expressly agreed in writing. Dimensional, mechanical, and material properties are subject to the tolerances of the printing process and material selected.

Disclaimer. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS OR IN A WRITTEN WARRANTY ACCOMPANYING THE PRODUCT, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

8. Custom Print Services (Print-on-Demand)

This section applies to any order in which you submit a design, model, or specification to be printed by DML ("Custom Print").

Your license to DML. By submitting a design for a Custom Print, you grant DML a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify for manufacturability, and print the design solely to fulfill your order. This license terminates upon delivery of the finished goods, except that DML may retain copies of submitted files as required for order records, dispute resolution, and reprint of defective parts.

Your warranty to DML. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the design submitted, or have obtained all rights and licenses necessary to have the design reproduced by DML;
  • The design does not infringe any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party;
  • The design does not violate any publicity or privacy right of any person;
  • The design is not subject to any export control or other governmental restriction that prohibits DML from producing or delivering the finished product;
  • The design and finished product comply with all applicable laws.

Indemnification for Custom Prints. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DML, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to any design you submit, including any claim that the design or finished product infringes intellectual property rights or violates any law.

DML's right to refuse. DML may refuse or cancel any Custom Print order, at any time before shipment, if we reasonably believe the order violates these Terms, applicable law, our Prohibited Uses policy, or the rights of any third party. In such case, we will refund payment for the cancelled Custom Print.

9. Ready-to-Ship Printed Goods

Ready-to-Ship Printed Goods are physical products produced by DML from designs we have legally licensed for commercial sale. When you purchase a Ready-to-Ship Printed Good, you acquire ownership of the physical item only. You do not acquire any rights to the underlying design, model file, trademark, or artistic work, and you may not reverse-engineer, reproduce, copy, or manufacture additional units of the design from the item you purchase.

Ready-to-Ship Printed Goods are for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial resale, redistribution, or reproduction requires separate written permission from DML.

Where the underlying design license requires attribution to the original creator, that attribution is displayed on the product page.

10. Prohibited Uses and Prohibited Items

You may not use the Site, nor submit any Custom Print order, for any of the following:

  • Weapons and firearms. Firearms, firearm receivers, firearm components, ammunition, ghost guns, silencers, magazines, weapon parts, or any item designed to function as a weapon or firearm accessory;
  • Infringing content. Any design that infringes copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right, including recognizable characters, logos, or designs owned by entertainment companies, sports leagues, toy companies, or other rights holders (such as Disney, Warner Bros., Nintendo, Marvel, LEGO, and similar);
  • Medical devices. Any item intended for implantation in the human body, diagnostic use, surgical use, or any other use requiring FDA approval, unless you provide documentation of appropriate regulatory clearance;
  • Illegal items. Drug paraphernalia, counterfeit currency or documents, identification forgery tools, lock bypass devices intended for unauthorized access, or any item the production, possession, or sale of which is prohibited by federal, state, or local law;

DML reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable judgment, whether any item falls within the Prohibited Uses. We may refuse orders, cancel accounts, and report violations to law enforcement or rights holders as appropriate.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, product images, videos, software, and the "DML World" and "DML" marks and slogans, is the property of DML World Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

Your use of the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Site, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DML WORLD INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM THE SITE, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF DML HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL DML'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A PARTICULAR PRODUCT OR ORDER EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DML FOR THAT PRODUCT OR ORDER.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DML World Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your misuse of any product purchased from the Site;

  • Any design, file, or content you submit to the Site, as further described in Section 8.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Before filing any formal dispute, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. You agree to first contact DML at info@dmlworld.com and provide a description of the dispute, the relief sought, and your contact information. DML will respond within 30 days.

If the dispute is not resolved informally within 60 days, either party may bring a formal claim. Any formal legal action must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when the current version took effect. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes that affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered customers by email before the changes take effect.

18. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DML regarding your use of the Site. For B2B customers with signed contracts, the contract terms control in case of conflict.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. DML may assign these Terms to any successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
